FYI

I just wanted to throw out the refresher / reminder that we had a lil bit of reflection coming off of last night. I’m convinced that we need to be involved in an information-action-reflection style of learning. It’s not enough to hear just information we have to act on it and then spend time reflecting on it as well. (you may or may not see a TCC blog post coming off of this topic in a few days.)

So yeah.  There were two parts to work through for this coming week.

1. Reflect on why you feel like you are weak in  community, communion, and/or mission. Pray about it.  Ask “Why” a whole bunch and get to the sin under the sin- it’s a heart issue not a lack of techniques we are struggling from. (these resources might prove helpful.)

2.  Get together with at least one other person from the MC and talk through some of this stuff also get down to how you are feeling led to act in light of the information.  The answer is never “fake it until you make it.”

see the entirety of our lives oriented around the person and work of
Jesus and the mission He has sent us on.
